I'm passionate about helping students succeed because I know how much of a difference the right support can make. As a mom and advocate for my own child's education, I've learned how important it is to recognize each student's unique strengths and needs. Making sure my son received the accommodations he needed taught me the value of patience, transparency, and encouragementsomething I bring into every learning space.
I also serve as a substitute teacher in my local school district, which gives me firsthand insight into the challenges and needs students face every day. It allows me to relate to them on a deeper level and support them in a variety of ways, both academically and personally.
I have experience leading youth programs and teaching entrepreneurship, branding, and digital design. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Virginia State University known for its strong STEM and business programs. I also hold dual Masters Degrees from Strayer University-to include an MBA. My teaching style is flexible, supportive, and focused on making learning practical and engaging.
Outside of tutoring, I'm a published author, creative entrepreneur, and someone who simply loves helping others grow.

In my free time, I enjoy fishing, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. I have a creative side that comes out through graphic and fashion design, and I love bringing ideas to life through branding and storytelling. Writing is a passion of mine—I’ve published books and enjoy sharing experiences that inspire and uplift others. I’m also big on giving back, whether it’s through community work, mentoring youth, or volunteering. Faith plays a major role in everything I do, and I’m always looking for ways to grow, learn something new, and help others do the same.
