A bilingual language instructor, I have worked at language academies across Europe for the past 12 years. I am CELT certified, hold a Masters Degree in language arts, and have an active teaching certification in the United States.
For the past 8 years, I have worked at a language academy in Barcelona, Spain.
As a language instructor, I understand the components of language and how to teach them. Having learned Spanish as a second language, I understand better than native Spanish speakers the pitfalls of language acquisition, especially those specific to Spanish.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you to help you develop a greater command of this beautiful and increasingly necessary language.
The books I craft are international spy thrillers set in Europe, a continent I have called home for 14 of the past 16 years. My lived experiences enrich the authenticity of the scenes and sensations I describe, and my undergraduate study of politics further enhances the writing, providing that "finger on the pulse" accuracy my plots demand.

My passion is novel writing. In 2012, while pursuing an MFA in creative writing from the American College Dublin, I had the privilege of studying in Oscar Wilde's childhood home under two highly talented Irish writers: Sean O'Reilly and Mike McCormack, the 2016 Goldsmith's Prize winner. In 2016, I published a work of detective fiction in the July issue of Heater magazine, marking a significant milestone in my author's journey. This was followed in 2022, by my being shortlisted for the Claymore Award’s best thriller category. The following year, I contracted a literary agent and currently have a manuscript on submission with various publishing houses. My main character is a former Recon Marine turned black-ops agent operating on Europe's fringes.
