Hi! My name is Lisa, and I'm here to help students feel more confident and supported in their learning journey!

I'm from Vancouver, BC and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science at Queen's University. I specialize in tutoring Math from Pre-K to Grade 10, English writing for middle school and high school students, and introductory Chemistry (Grade 10 and 11 level). Whether it's breaking down math problems step-by-step, organizing and editing an essay, or simplifying basic chemistry concepts, my goal is to focus on creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace!

My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I believe every student learns differently, so I will take the time to understand how each student thinks and tailor my approach to fit what you need. In our sessions, I prioritize clear explanations, active participation, and consistent feedback to help students build not just knowledge but also confidence!
