I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at McMaster University, entering my third year of the program.
I tutor high school-level math and physics as well as introductory and intermediate electrical engineering concepts. I became passionate about helping students after experiencing how transformative academic support can be find it incredibly rewarding to watch students gain confidence and overcome challenges in subjects, they once found difficult. I've worked with peers in collaborative study groups and lab sessions and have also supported high school students in mastering core concepts.
While I tutor a range of STEM subjects, I am especially enthusiastic about physics and electrical engineering because they reveal the underlying principles that power the technology and systems around us. My teaching philosophy centers on meeting students where they are and guiding them through patient, step-by-step instruction using real-world examples. I strive to create a collaborative, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and actively participating in their learning.
Outside of academics, I enjoy working on electronics projects, staying up to date with emerging technologies, and playing video games.
