I earned my double bachelor's degree in Biology and Kinesiology at the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and my Master's degree in Biology at the University of Texas at San Antonio with a focus on clinical health. While in the master's program at UTSA and since graduation, I have been involved with various clinics and organizations that serve the San Antonio community. Additionally, I gained experience and skills that enabled me to treat patients with the right care. I have been teaching at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio since 2024, teaching Anatomy and Physiology labs, General Biology labs, and lectures. While I tutor a broad variety of subjects, I am passionate about teaching Anatomy and Physiology, Psychology, and Pharmacology. My teaching philosophy prioritizes learning and critical thinking, while also promoting access to resources and opportunities that enable students to begin their professional paths early. I genuinely care about my students and strive to be available to them to the best of my ability. For students who struggle, I dedicate extra time to help them better grasp the material. All my students possess great potential, and my goal is to help them realize that potential in the classroom.
