I am a dual degree graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Neurobiology and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. I am passionate about helping students because individualized support can unlock potential and build lasting confidence, especially in subjects that many find intimidating. I have experience working with students in formal and informal settings, from working as a Teaching Assistant in college to mentoring high school students through volunteer programs. I am currently applying to medical school and want to share my knowledge with others as I do so! I tutor a range of subjects including the biological sciences, chemistry, physics, Spanish, and test prep for the MCAT, ACT, and SAT. My favorite areas to tutor are biology and MCAT prep, as I love helping students connect complex concepts to real-world applications and develop strategies that make challenging material more approachable. My teaching style is empathetic, adaptable, and goal-oriented -- I aim to meet students where they are, build trust, and foster critical thinking so they can succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
