Certified Tutor

I am a sophomore at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT but am currently living in Henderson, NV for the summer. I am double majoring in Cell Biology and Neuroscience, and Psychology. I am currently working towards a Bachelor of Science degree and plan on attending Medical School and obtaining a Doctorate in the future. I deeply value and appreciate education as a whole and want to foster a passion for learning in all students. I am qualified to tutor in all subjects but am especially fond of subjects relating to English, Reading, Math, History, and Social Studies. My philosophy as a tutor goes beyond just preparing students for tests- rather, I want to facilitate genuine learning and understanding by helping students connect what they are learning about in school to the "real-world." I also know that school and testing can be overwhelming and hope to provide coping strategies with test anxiety and school-related stress. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, going to the gym, hanging out with my family and friends, and spending time outdoors. I look forward to working with you soon!
