Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a certificate in Leadership, Innovation, Technology, and Diversity. I have over a year and a half of experience tutoring and mentoring students, particularly those on pre-health tracks. My work in clinical settings and academic programs has fueled my passion for helping students feel more confident and prepared in challenging courses.

I tutor a range of subjects, including chemistry and biology. My favorite subject is chemistry because it brings science to life in a way that's both logical and visual. I enjoy breaking down complex chemical concepts into clear, step-by-step visuals that help students truly understand the "why" behind the material, not just memorize it.

As a visual learner, my tutoring style heavily focuses on diagrams, flowcharts, color-coded notes, and drawing out processes in real time. I believe that when students can see how something works, it sticks. I aim to create a supportive and organized learning space where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring ideas until it clicks.
