As an engineering student at McMaster University with a strong passion for STEM. I'm committed to helping students succeed in subjects like chemistry, physics, calculus, and advanced functions. I've always gravitated toward problem-solving and analytical thinking, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with students, especially when it comes to chemistry, which has been one of my favorite subjects to learn and teach. In high school, I received the highest proficiency awards in both chemistry and physics, reflecting not only strong academic performance but also a genuine interest in the material.

I've had the opportunity to teach and mentor students in both formal and informal settings. As President of my high school's STEM and Engineering Clubs, I led exam study sessions where I explained core concepts and walked students through problem sets in subjects like physics, chemistry, advanced functions and calculus. Additionally, I currently serve as a Women in Engineering Ambassador at McMaster, where I present to high school students and offer guidance about pursuing STEM at the post-secondary level.

My tutoring style is student-centered, supportive, and flexible. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, and I adjust my approach based on each student's learning preferences, determining which learning style works best for them. As a tutor, my goals are to create a supportive and engaging environment while ensuring my student has a deep understanding of the material.

Outside of academics, I'm involved in hands-on engineering teams like RoboSub and Concrete Canoe, where I apply STEM principles to real-world projects.
