As a former second-grade teacher with a strong background in curriculum development and differentiated instruction, I bring both structure and flexibility to every tutoring session. I've designed and implemented standards-aligned lessons across al core subjects and created engaging, cross-curricular units tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities. My teaching philosophy centers around meeting students where they are and helping them grow through encouragement, creativity, and individualized support. During my time in the classroom, I worked closely with students of varying academic levels, using a variety of instructional strategies to make content accessible, challenging, and enjoyable. Whether supporting foundational reading and math skills or enriching learning for advanced students, my goal is always to foster confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Outside of education, I lead a creative and balanced lifestyle. I enjoy painting, reading, writing, and designing. I value health and wellness- staying active through regular physical exercise and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. My faith is also an important part of who I am, and I'm actively involved in my church community, which has also helped to foster my nurturing and grounded approach I bring to teaching.
