John Henry: Westchester tutor
Certified Tutor
Hi, I'm John! I'm a recent graduate from Georgia Institute of Technology graduating with my B.S. in Aerospace Engineering (highest honors!), and start work as a Test Engineer at a large New Space company later this year. I am extremely passionate about my work in aerospace engineering and love the field of "New Space," specifically propulsion/fluids engineering. My internship experience includes work at Axiom Space, SpaceX, NASA, combustion lab research, and I have had technical/soft skill interviews with many other companies. I enjoy mentoring students in both their engineering coursework and career development (interview preparation, resume/essay writing, etc.).
I have mentored new engineering students in their coursework and career development for a couple years now primarily through school extracurriculars such as engineering clubs, and mentored high school chemistry for a couple semesters as well. In the past I have mentored one-on-one online, but am open to in-person as well.
If you're looking for another peer to help with your engineering coursework or getting your dream internship (trust me -- in high school I definitely had no idea I would be able to say that I've worked for both NASA and SpaceX before I graduated college) I'd love to help!
