Hi, I'm Ryder. I have a strong and complex background in all fields of English, including grammar, syntax, use of diction, and all types of essay writing - personal, academic, journalistic, and creative. I've honed my writing and English skills over several years of involvement in the literary world, including serving on my high school and college newspapers, writing a senior honors thesis, and joining an independently-founded writing group that has two self-published anthologies.

My teaching style involves two main principles: understanding and patience. I strive for my students to truly intake their education and demonstrate mastery over the learning material. At the same time, I know deeply that students learn at their own pace and both need and deserve a learning environment that prioritizes their skillset and motivations. Through my knowledge and expertise, I have high hopes that I can help any student succeed in their goals.
