I'm a second year at The Ohio State University as part of the college of Education and Human Ecology currently studying towards a bachelor's degree in STEM Education with a minor in Mathematics. I specialize in teaching secondary education mathematics including but not limited to: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus. I've been passionate about being a math teacher since middle school due to some great role models, and I have experience volunteer tutoring for 3 years at Huntington Learning Center along with real in-class experience at Northland High School in Columbus, OH, through Ohio State's FEEP program. (First Education Experience Program). My teaching style is asking many questions, and I'm flexible in teaching a range of methods and a range of students, understanding that one method of teaching is not viable for every student, that you have to tailor your instruction as you learn how the student processes information.

I have experience with ages 3-18 and students with learning disabilities. I'm very glad to be a part of the Varsity Tutors team and teach children the fundamentals of math and hope that you'll find me a great fit for teaching you or your child.
