Certified Tutor
I am a PhD candidate in chemical engineering, with both MSc and BSc degrees in the same field. I have a current GPA of 4. I have been recognized as a distinguished during my BSc. and MSc.
My passion for tutoring comes from a deep appreciation for learning and a genuine joy in helping others build confidence in subjects they once found difficult. There's something incredibly fulfilling about guiding students to those "aha" moments and watching their understanding grow.
I have experience teaching high school physics and mathematics, as well as serving as a teaching assistant for undergraduate engineering thermodynamics and fluid mechanics at the University of Alberta. These roles have strengthened my ability to break down complex topics and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs and levels.
I strive to create a supportive, encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered to ask questions, tackle challenges, and enjoy the process of learning.
Beyond academics, I enjoy writing, exploring new ideas, and immersing myself in creative pursuits. These interests often help me bring fresh perspectives and real-world examples into my teaching, making abstract concepts more accessible and engaging.
