Certified Tutor

I am a student-athlete at Colgate University, majoring in geology. I love being able to help students improve their problem-solving and studying skills in math and science. I firmly believe so many students struggle not cause of a lack of effort but from a lack of individualized teaching. I know this because I was one of those students who processed information differently from my classmates. Since everyone has different ways of thinking, teachers in a classroom cannot compensate for every individual. However, I will work with students to teach them individually in a way that makes sense to them. Outside of tutoring and studying, you'll most likely see me on the soccer field. As a goalkeeper on the Colgate University soccer team, I spend a lot of time training individually and with my team. I also love spending time in nature and am president of an improv comedy club at Colgate University.
