I am a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten-EIT 2 teacher with 10 years of experience teaching Kindergarten and 1st grade. Teaching is more than just a profession for meit is my calling and my gift. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and began my teaching journey immediately after graduating in 2015.
Over the years, I have honed my skills in teaching early literacy and math skills, deepened my understanding of best practices, and embraced differentiated instruction to support diverse learning needs. While I enjoy teaching both subjects, my heart is especially passionate about literacy, recognizing its crucial role in early education. I am an Orton-Gillingham and LETRS-trained educator, equipping me with specialized strategies to support developing readers. Beyond the classroom, I lead professional development sessions for teachers and parents in the community to promote the importance of literacy.
My experience includes teaching literacy and math, tutoring students ranging from kindergarten to fourth grade, and providing targeted instruction to help every child reach their full potential. Seeing my students grow has been the most fulfilling part of my journey, reinforcing my belief in the power of personalized learning and a strong educational foundation.

My hobbies revolve around experiencing the world around me. I love traveling, immersing myself in different cultures, trying out new foods, and capturing moments with my husband. I also enjoy spending time at the beach, doing arts and crafts, and watching a variety of series, whether American, anime, or Asian dramas.
