I'm a recent graduate from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Neuroscience and Chemistry. I've always been fascinated by how the brain and body workespecially how science and technology can come together to help people heal after injury or illness. I've just finished my MCAT and am now pursuing a degree in Medicine.
At Penn, I lead a team of students in a research lab that works on ways to regrow damaged muscles and heart tissue using really cool tools like 3D printers and tiny electric fibers. I've also helped with research at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, working on ways to better support kids growing up with HIV in different parts of the world.
Outside of the lab, I care a lot about giving back. I volunteer with groups in Philadelphia that help people facing hunger or homelessness, and I've helped raise money for kids whose parents are battling cancer through a group called Camp Kesem.
I love learning and I'm always excited to help others learn tooespecially when it comes to science, writing, and math. I believe education can change lives, and I try to bring that mindset into everything I do. When I'm not working or studying, you can usually find me running, playing music, or exploring. Excited to be a part of your journey!
