Certified Tutor

I am a scientist and software engineer with more than 25-year experience. After I obtained my Bachelor of Sciences in Atmospheric Physics and Master of Science in Meteorology years ago in China, I taught Programming in BASIC/FORTRAN in a college during school years, and I taught Algebra/Trigonometry to adult students in a vocational school during summer breaks. Later, I came to the United States and received my Master of Science in Computer Engineering and my Doctor of Philosophy in Meteorology at Iowa State University. Related to my graduate studies at Iowa State, besides presented and defended my thesis and dissertation, I attended and presented my research at international conferences in Canada, Ireland, and US. During my years as Senior Software Engineer, I delivered technical lectures and product presentations at conferences and customer sites in Taiwan and Mainland China. In my long academic and professional experience, I benefit from and believe strongly the education of reading/writing and math. My favorite subjects to tutor are math and physics while I enjoy tutoring writing in English or Chinese as well.
