Meghan: Washtenaw County tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a current student at Duke University studying on the pre-medical track, majoring in Neuroscience with a minor in either Mathematics or Chemistry. I have experience tutoring ages K-12, and have worked as a peer tutor throughout my high school years. While I have tutored a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about math, and I also work strongly in standardized test preparation. Math is one of those subjects that seems intimidating at first, but the progress of bringing students from "hating" math to being confident in their understanding of the subject is what I love most about tutoring. I am a strong advocate for breaking down complex concepts into simple, approachable steps, helping students truly understand the "why" behind any academic subject. Outside of tutoring, I love volunteering at hospitals, working out, reading, and spending time with my friends and family.
