I am currently completing my undergrad at the University of Toronto. I am studying towards a major in English, with a minor in Creative Writing and Religion. I love reading, writing, cooking, running and playing the guitar. I am passionate about helping students with their learning because I know how important it is to find interest and curiosity in whatever subjects you're pursuing. I struggled with aspects of my education when I was younger and something that always helped me was having someone who put in extra effort to find a way of learning that worked for me. I truly believe that everyone can study anything, it just takes different strategies or outlooks to make it happen. I am excited by the opportunity to help others find a way of learning that makes it exciting and fun.

I have spent time helping students with their grammar, vocabulary and writing prompts in the past. My special interest has been personal essays and scholarship application essays. I have experience teaching copy editing skills and elevated literary analysis. Although I've never taught religion topics to students, it is an interest of mine and utilizes many of the skills found in literary analysis.
