I am a graduate of Averett College and received my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
I have been a homeschooling mother for 25 years and a private tutor for ten years.
While I tutor a broad range of subjects in PreK, Elementary and Middle School, I am most passionate about English and Writing.
I also have experience working with students with Asperger Syndrome, Sensory Processing Disorder, OCD, and ADHD.
I am a firm proponent of education and believe that each child, both neurotypical and neurodivergent alike, deserves opportunities for positive and joyful learning experiences.
In my teaching style, I try to impart this joy of learning to all of my students.
In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, gardening, sewing, writing and journaling.
