I am an undergraduate at the University of Maryland pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. How we learn and how that impacts our academic performance has always interested me, and I am passionate about helping students find strategies that best support their learning. I tutor in a wide variety of subjects from math to reading to ACT prep. I do not have a particular favorite subject to tutor, but my favorite part of tutoring is when a concept first clicks for a student. My goal as a tutor is not just to help the student learn the material but to establish study and organizational skills that can help them throughout their academic career. I tailor my lesson plans and tutoring to the student's individual needs and learning styles. Outside of academics, I love to read novels, go on walks with my dog, do crafts, spend time with my friends and family, and watch romcoms.
