Certified Tutor

I have signed up to be a tutor because at my core I am most activated when I am helping others reach their potential. I have been working with students in one way or another since the year 2000 when I started as a youth minister. My experience carried through to teaching in the classroom, and then as a theater workshop facilitator. Ever since graduating Kentucky State University with me degree in Education, I have worked with students to enrich their development. Even after graduation from Second City's conservatory program, and their graduate level training program through the Bob Curry Fellowship that focus has remained the same.
To that end I tutor a wide range of subjects that go from social studies, to English, and drama. I doso with a deeply rooted belief that all students can learn and that it's incumbent on the teacher to find the best way to assist the student on their path to learning. As a result my teaching style is to ask questions and guide learning more than simply disseminate information.
