I'm a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh's Honors College, where I received my Bachelors of Science in both Biology and Anthropology along with a minor in Chemistry. I have always tackled my own studies through active engagement with my peers, and have extensive experience creating review material for exams as I led study groups in Science, Math, and English classes through high school and college. While I tutor many subjects, I hold a place in my heart for Science, since we can use it to understand our world in so many different ways. I've also competed in and ran events for Science Olympiad, a competitive science tournament for K-12 students, for eight years! I believe that not only excelling, but also deeply understanding educational material is essential for students to thrive beyond school, and I'm excited to help my students reach their goals. Beyond instructing, I am an avid crocheter, birdwatcher, and piano player.
