As a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in Disability Studies from Toronto Metropolitan University, I bring over 2 years of tutoring experience and a rich background as an educational assistant in public schools. My passion lies in supporting elementary students, particularly in Special Education, while fostering their social-emotional skills. I believe in creating engaging, relatable lessons that connect with students' interestswhether it's through popular culture or interactive activities. My approach emphasizes understanding emotions and social cues, helping students navigate their feelings and interactions. I am committed to empowering all students to find their voices and succeed academically. In my free time, I enjoy exploring literature and connecting with my students over shared interests, such as Korean pop culture.
