Certified Tutor

My name is Gracia and as someone passionate about supporting students in their academic journey, I find great fulfillment in helping them achieve their goals. My experience working with students spans various roles where I have guided learners of 6 under years old through academic challenges. From my time working in early childhood education, assisting toddlers with foundational skills, to supporting peers, I've always found joy in watching students grow in confidence and capability.

I am currently pursuing my education at Georgia Gwinnett College, where I am working toward a degree that allows me to further my skills in the educational field. I have taken courses in a wide range of subjects, including chemistry and life choices, which give me a strong foundation to assist students in various academic areas.

I tutor subjects including science, English, and basic math, but my favorite subject to tutor is French. There's something incredibly rewarding about breaking down complex concepts and watching a student's eyes light up when they finally understand how things fit together.
My teaching philosophy centers on patience and adaptability. Every student learns differently, and my tutoring style focuses on meeting each individual where they are and guiding them toward understanding at their own pace. I emphasize hands-on problem-solving and real-life examples to make learning as relatable as possible.

Outside of academia, I enjoy engaging in activities that expand my understanding of the world, including volunteering, fitness, and spending time in nature. These interests keep me grounded and inspired to bring fresh perspectives into my tutoring sessions.
