I am a recent graduate from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. I have worked as a gymnastics coach since high school and have gained much experience teaching kids of all ages. I'm experienced in helping athletes work through problems and finding alternative ways to teach skills dependent on their learning needs. I have always been passionate about anatomy and physiology, my favourite part of high school biology was learning about body systems, and I loved studying metabolic pathways in my last semester of university. I have spent countless hours studying with and helping fellow classmates write reports, complete assignments, and prepare for exams. If I have learned anything throughout my studies it is that the more you learn the less you know and that we should always be learning and sharing knowledge with others.

I studied biochemistry and am really passionate about it, particularly the biology half of it. Bioenergetics and metabolism, biology of aging, and structural biology of protein misfolding diseases have been some of my favourite classes. I am an avid reader, so you can always find me curled up in a cozy blanket with a cup of tea and a good book or some pertinent article I stumbled across. I absolutely love to cook, bake, and discover new delicious recipes. I enjoy the outdoors, so hiking and camping are how I spend my free time during the warmer seasons. When the weather gets cold you can most likely find me in the gym. I have played piano since I was a kid, and it is one of my most relaxing hobbies to this day. Most of all I love spending time with my friends, family, and dog.
