I am a graduate of Arizona State University. Go Sundevils! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Special Education. Since graduation, I have worked as a K-5 resource teacher at the school that I student taught. While I teach a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about math and writing. In my experience helping struggling students understand grade level material and preparing for Standardized Tests, we always seem to have the most fun using websites like Kahoot and Blooket using games and questions to practice skills. I am a firm proponent of whole child education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved engagement and achievement in the classroom. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, board games and watching tv.
