Certified Tutor

I am a third grade teacher with 19 years experience in elementary classrooms. I am dual certified in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I have a Master of Arts in Teaching from Emmanuel College in Boston and a Master of Education from Fitchburg State University. I have worked with a variety of student populations including students with specific learning disabilities, multi-lingual students, students on the Autism Spectrum, and students with emotional and behavioral challenges. I believe that all students can be successful, but that some need a little extra help. I use formative and summative assessments, progress monitoring and data collection in my classroom to identify and target the needs of my individual students. I bring that same enthusiasm and diligence to tutoring. I am available to tutor both reading, writing and math for grades 1-4.
