Certified Tutor

As someone hoping to become a school psychologist at the completion of my doctoral studies, I greatly enjoy working with and exploring the minds of younger learners as well as individuals with disabilities of all ages. While studying Child Studies and Medicine, Health, and Society as an undergraduate at Vanderbilt University, I served as a college counselor to high school juniors looking to gain admission to universities, colleges, and military programs, and I also served as a peer mentor to college-age students with intellectual disabilities to aid in the adjustment to college and collegiate coursework. Additionally, I've previously worked with AmeriCorps where I aided a local company in administering reading assessments to children in grades K-8, and I was even given the chance to serve as a teaching assistant for a developmental psychology course during my final semester at Vanderbilt. I am currently a third-year School Psychology PhD student where I've been gaining much more experience working with diverse learners from a variety of backgrounds and of varying ages. As I navigate this journey, I feel confident in being able to assist diverse learners in the following areas: psychology courses, career exploration/college navigation, English/grammar, college application essays, writing, and study skills development to name a few!

I have been a performer of various dance styles for over 18 years with a primary focus on ballet/contemporary and jazz funk, and I also love old school music (particularly music from the '60s/'70s). I have a 4-year old SUPER energetic dog that I love spending time with, and I also enjoy online shopping (probably a bit too much)!
