Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Nova Southeastern University School of Business. I received my Bachelors of Business & Professional Management with a focus on human resources. I also earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. Since graduation, I traveled to Italy and France, and many places in the USA. I have tutored children in metro Jacksonville, and Orlando, FL. I taught high school English to children with learning disabilities and tutored in the after school program. I am passionate about helping students increase their academic skills in reading, English and math. I enjoy watching children/students have their "Aha moments" when they have learned a skill that they needed in order to reach their academic goals. I have proctored a number of annual scholastic tests for high school students. I worked in kindergarten through 6th grade as a paraprofessional, assisting elementary students in reading and math skills. I firmly believe that it is important for children to gain a firm foundation in order to positively achieve their academic goals and make learning fun rather than a difficult task. I feel it is necessary to encourage children and help them to improve their learning skills with tutoring and assisting them toward achieving their learning goals. In my spare time, I enjoy watching DIY TV shows, exercising, cooking, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
