Hi, my name is Catherine! I have a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with minors in Physics and Law Enforcement. I tutored physics for 4 years at my university as a peer tutor. I had a really great physics professor in college that was energetic and willing to teach students physics in anyway they needed. I learned not only physics from her, but also how to teach others. She's the one that got me interested in tutoring. The experience I had for four years was incredibly rewarding and gave me a passion for helping students. I was one of the main two tutors for these classes covering physics one and two as well as calculus, algebra, and conceptual based physics. I had a great group of students each year that I got to know, watch them succeed in their classes, and, eventually, become their friend as I still get updates on how they are succeeding in their lives. I love sharing my knowledge and love of physics with students, which is why I decided to continue tutoring even after completing college. I can't wait to start getting to know more students and helping them in their academic endeavors.

When I'm not working, I enjoy reading all kinds of books, hiking, boxing, and martial arts. I also enjoy watching movies and being with my dog, Roxy.
