Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"During this session the student and I discussed material that will be on her upcoming exam. This material was introduced somewhat recently and it seemed as though the student has not fully digested the relationships between these new concepts and equations. However, once we set up the problems, she did not have many issues working her way through the algebraic and arithmetic calculations. My suggestion was to budget some study energy to engaging with these concepts and building a physical intuition in addition to memorizing the equations. I will spend some time during our next session working on this."
"Today we focused on mirrors and reflections. We discussed the difference between convex and converging mirrors as well as their magnification properties relative to the focal points. We also worked through an example using geometry and trigonometry when light is acting as a ray."
"Completed binder sheets related to resistance, Ohm's Law, parallel and series circuits. Managed overdue items and filled in the gaps of what needs to be submitted to earn credit for grade."
