We additionally incorporated a master review of all the previous verbs and vocab we have covered. I left her with a worksheet to fill out (which we will review next time) as well as a written conversation piece to review next time. She requested we cover the verb querer (to want) for our next session, which I will incorporate with kitchen vocabulary as well!

The student had to complete the sentences in such way to show he understands each and every concept we have covered so far. He did well. We are approaching the end of the chapter, and I asked him to do for homework another exercise quizzing him on "SER".

We began this session by reviewing their daily journals and the homework assignment. This homework focused on practicing verbs, in particular ser/estar. It is very difficult for non-native speakers to grasp the difference between these two verbs so I will send additional exercises over the weekend for them to practice. The majority of the session was spent doing speaking activities to get them more comfortable speaking the language and not relying on what they have written down. I will send them extra practice questions over the weekend.
