Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Student made a good deal of progress this morning. She finished lesson 29 for Spanish, the module eight project in geometry, and a lesson on interpreting poetry with a graphic organizer assignment for English."
"During my session with the student, we worked on ActII Scene1 of Julius Caesar. For extra practice, I suggested that she read a synopsis of Julius Caesar so she will already understand the language, symbolism, and significance of the play. She informed me that she received a 96 on her research paper."
"The student and I worked on completing his Spanish test corrections. It was his first week back after spring break so he did not have a very heavy workload. We will use this opportunity to try and get him ahead in Math since that is the class he has to focus the most on this quarter."
"The student had math and science homework. She finished her math on angles with no trouble. We reviewed for her science test which she also did fine with."
"Today we worked on the rough draft of a biography the student has due tomorrow. His teacher provided an outline template that he worked off of. He had gotten off to a good start with the research, but needed to do a bit more to meet the teacher's 30 note requirement. He then moved all of the research into the outline, and worked on the best way to organize the information. Finally, he reviewed the content of each of the body paragraphs and formed thesis sentences."
"The student worked on his new algebra sheet and we reviewed Latin vocabulary. Today, he worked on the character sheet for English. I asked him many questions about the book to get his memory going. We reviewed the digestive system. He says he has turned in much of his work to his teachers."
