How can a Anatomy tutor help you?

Anatomy is the study of the structures that form living creatures, and humans is particular. To understand anatomy is to understand how people exist and function. Generally, scientists approach anatomy in two different ways - the macroscopic and microscopic points of view. Macroscopic anatomy, also known as gross anatomy, is study conducted with the unaided human eye. Microscopic anatomy requires the use of microscopes or other devices that allow researchers to see features of our bodies that cannot be viewed with the naked eye. Both of these perspectives are an essential part of anatomical coursework and research. Varsity Tutors can help you find a skilled, independent tutor near Framingham, MA, who can guide you on the path toward anatomical understanding using these two scientific methods.

The study of anatomy can be demanding. Understanding the anatomical planes, whether median, coronal, or transverse, allow you to accurately describe an individual body and any anomalies you may find thereon. Surface anatomy, regional anatomy, and systemic anatomy are all part of your gross anatomy education, while microscopic anatomy will require you to understand cytology and histology. You might be tasked with understanding the cells and connective tissues that come together to create a living organism. You'll spend lab time performing dissection of various subjects, from frogs in basic classes to human cadavers in advanced medical training. Varsity Tutors can assist you in finding an independent, professional anatomy tutor in Framingham to make your educational journey easier.

Session Summaries by Anatomy Tutors

Framingham, MA Anatomy tutoring
I heard some great news from the student this week. After a slow start to the semester, he just recently got his test on molecular geometry back and got an 88%! He has come a long way since our first session and it has been fun to watch his interest and ability in chemistry grow. He has been a pleasure to work with and he works hard. This week, we studied for his exam on intermolecular forces. He seemed worried and a little stressed about this material, and mentioned he hadn't been able to put as much time into this as he should have. After our session, he seemed much more confident and told me he was feeling good that he now had a strategy for tackling the test questions. I'm sure he did a great job and we should be able to review his test at our next session.

We covered equilibrium constants, calculating equilibrium concentrations, and le Chatelier's principle. We then reviewed molarity, unit conversions, and diluted solutions. She was confident with most of the material but had some trouble with molarity calculations. We will focus on these types of problems during our next session.

The student's upcoming exam was rescheduled for Wednesday. We briefly reviewed all of the major points from lessons 11.1-11.4 and then went over her relevant homework assignments. These assignments are collected at the end of the unit on the day of the test and are graded on completion and not correctness. Many of the problems from her homework overlapped with problems she and I had previously worked through, and many others had little to no work filled out. We spent the remainder of the session going through and completing these questions. Although she may not receive a grade on correctness, this aspect will be vital on the upcoming exam. I left her with the remainder of the initial review worksheet to look over, which I hope to work on with her this Tuesday as the final task before she takes her exam.

We worked on a number of additional limiting reagent practice problems. The student is getting the hang of it pretty well at this point. I tried exhibiting the RICE table as well.

The student has a test on Water Properties and Solution Chemistry next week. We went over her notes and the practice problems provided by her teacher. She should do well on the test, as long as she reviews the extensive vocabulary required by these chapters. We went over them a few times, however memorization needs to occur over time.

We discussed the student's first exams. We talked about what she got wrong on the test she got back, but we'll have to wait for next week to go over the other. I left her with an assignment to look over before next week. It will have her watch a few interactive videos that will help explain the process of microbial reproduction and genetic dispersion within biofilms.
