Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Today we reviewed the entirety of Chapter 1, which will be covered on the geometry test the student has tomorrow. We also reviewed his quiz and analyzed areas of difficulty he may have had with the material. He is bright and motivated and should do well if he continues to work hard in the subject."
"Today we went over adjacent angles, a linear pair, vertical angles, and using algebra to solve for angle measures. The student understood all of the topics very well as we worked through the homework. When she got stuck, I told her the proper method to solve the problem, and she retained the information to solve similar problems for the rest of the homework. She learns at a very fast pace, and I do not believe she will have any problems with upcoming tests, as of now."
"Today we went over line segment postulate. The student needed help with the most complex lines that had multiple points. Once her teacher goes over the work, we will go over the concept again, and make sure the topic is clearly understood. I will also be searching for examples on the platform to provide some extra practice."
"Today we went over some extra practice worksheets for the stuff that she was still struggling with from the test. Overall she was doing really well with the concepts. I think that she just needed some extra practice and for some of the methods to be explained in a different way. She should be good to go for her test."
"Today we went over triangles, angle bisector, median, perpendicular bisection, and altitude. The student was not struggling with much today. He was positive towards the material that was reviewed. I gave him a few tips on different triangles and angles. I did not leave him with extra practice. There were no grades to note progress. He is off to a good start. He seems to understand the concepts pretty well."
"Today we worked hard on two new topics: Pascal's triangle and the bisectional methods for finding the answer to binomials raised to large exponents. The student did well. This material is not conceptually difficult, simply tedious and full of steps. I expect her to do well once we work more with it."
