Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student has improved a lot since we first started working together, and I'm confident that he will do a great job on Monday. If he keeps in mind the strategies we discussed regarding picking from two answers he should do great. Good luck!"
"The student has a few weeks left before her DAT exam, so she is doing a lot of practice exams and practice problems. Today we went over the practice problems, the relevant concepts, and the correct and incorrect answers. We reviewed general and organic chemistry concepts and went over approaching the questions conceptually. She has seen an improvement in her scores and does well in understanding the concepts."
"Today we started going over some QR sections the student took. The student seems to have a pretty good handle on how to go about the questions once we are going over them. The problems seem to be with a small (but important!) rule regarding something like orders of operation, or a matter of freaking out on the test. ;) We will work on this more next session. Most importantly, once we review the questions, the student is much more confident with the material!! We're meeting again to continue tomorrow!"
"As it was a first session, we covered a lot of macro-level strategy and tactics regarding the test and discussed our general study strategy moving forward. The student had a willingness to grapple with any and all of the sections of the LSAT. I asked her to review the strategies to attack the logic games and a plan to take 1 practice test before our next meeting."
"Continued to work through LSAT practice tests, focusing on grouping games (Logic Games) and then reviewing a number of the hardest Logical Reasoning problems. The student has made a lot of progress, and I think he'll do well."
"Covered Logical Reasoning questions. Moved onto Logic Games and how to approach different answer choices. Did a sample game together, limiting the testing of answers. Extra practice is to do all games in the book with that approach. Review on Friday."
