"The student and I covered hobbies. We looked to express what one's hobbies and interests are, common ways to express interests and hobbies, and how to express that one dislikes a particular activity. We covered a variety of verbs in the infinitive to use with "gustar." In addition, we went over the verbs and conjugations/usage of "salir," "jugar," "leer," and "ver" vs. "mirar." In addition, I introduced him to the imperfect tense, its uses, the rules for conjugation, and the only three verbs in Spanish that are irregular in the imperfect tense. I sent him worksheets covering the use of the specific verbs we covered as well as the notes for the session. I asked him to complete each worksheet and review the notes."
"This was our final session, so we did an oral and written review of things we did over the summer, including noun/ adjective agreement, present vs. past tense, and basic vocabulary."
"We continued to cover the calendar and time. We went over holidays, and the names of the seasons, along with writing and verbal practice for all vocabulary. I assigned a show to watch as a homework."
