Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I actually worked on two things. We reviewed a math assignment that he had concerning volume. He is great at understanding which values need to be multiplied and did well on the assignment. The majority of the session was spent reviewing for his Social Studies test on Greece. We went through the teacher-provided study guide. He had trouble remembering some of the vocabulary, but did better the more we repeated it."
"The first student and I worked on reading comprehension questions for the book she's reading in her humanities class called "Chains." The second student and I discussed an assignment about Roman legions. More specifically, she had to derive facts from the text that answered a set of questions."
"Today the student completed her Buddhism essay and wrote the majority of her Egypt essay (everything but the introduction), and we reviewed and edited them. She is getting more comfortable with writing concepts using her own words and drawing conclusions beyond what's written in the text, which is great. She is going to finish her introduction to the Egypt essay and then send the Lesson 2 assignment in."
