Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over complex fractions and free body diagrams. By the end of the session, the student was able to solve the problems correctly."
"Today, the student and I discussed projectile trajectory graphing and solving for distances, velocities at horizontal and vertical directions."
"The student wanted to review for tomorrow's quiz by going through her previous test. We just went through the test problems that had questions on. Mainly, the test problems involved projectile motion and forces. Next, we moved on to calculus where we did a few homework problems on implicit differentiation."
"Today, we reviewed atomic structure, periodic trends, and properties/behaviors of matter through interactive online questions to establish a baseline. Tomorrow, I will lecture on atomic structure and periodic trends because these are the subjects the student struggled with the most. For homework, she is to watch the chemistry video about the periodic table."
"Today, we reviewed Euler's Law of Motion, otherwise known as Newton's Laws of Motion. We went through some examples, which would be worth reviewing once more on your own to make sure they make sense. We also reviewed moment of inertia in more depth. I would also suggest doing one or two more problems like that, which can be found online fairly easily. Good luck on your quiz!"
"Today, we reviewed oxidation and reduction reactions and the properties of water. We also covered the water cycle and the differences between condensation, vaporization, and evaporation. We looked at the different types of energy and energy conversions and the different types of bonds. The student picks up on the new material very quickly!"
