Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"Arithmetic and geometric sequences, probability, graphing linear equations, means, medians, percentages, standard deviations."
"We discussed manipulation of equations to transform to an alternate rotated coordinate system, as well as visualization and graphing of polar equations."
"Today, the student and I met to go over a few topics for his assessment exam. We spent a bulk of our time reviewing polynomials and logarithms. We briefly reviewed arc length, segment area, and sector area."
"The student and I went over basic trigonometry concepts that she is learning in school. We reviewed most of her homework assignment and left some that we were sure she knew how to do so she could practice them independently. I also showed her how to generate the unit circle without memorizing the entire thing. We plan to go over some graphing next time!"
"Today, the student prepared for his precalculus exam. Topics included power rule, product rule, quotient rule, chain rule, implicit differentiation, trigonometric integrals, and applications of differentiation. His technical skills are very strong. He shows no issues when differentiating complicating functions, including those with multiple applications of chain, product, and quotient rule."
"We went over polar graphs and how to find the equations and graph them and convert from polar to rectangular and visa versa. The student had some trouble at first but quickly understood the concepts after explanation."
