"We started by going over the 2 sections of LSAT logic games assigned from last week. We discussed the answers he gave, as well as how he came to those answers, and (on the questions that were incorrect) how he would have reached the correct answer. We spent most of the evening going over two practice Reading Comprehension sections, reading each essay selection first and discussing their meaning before focusing on the questions. In addition to his regular LSAT study for the next week, I asked him to find as many articles as he could find, read them, and summarize/explain them as practice for next week. His greatest weakness for Reading Comprehension is speed - he wants to skim the articles quickly so he can answer all of the questions, but he misses the details of the articles in the process, which keeps him from being able to fully answer the questions. My hope is that, by practicing analyzing and summarizing articles this week, I'll help him to be able to more quickly understand what he's reading."
"Today's full lesson was spent reviewing logical reasoning practice questions. We identified "resolve the paradox" question types and discussed time management and wrong answer elimination strategies."
"We reviewed a set of reading comprehension problems and I clarified some of the logic used to solve some of the more complex passages."
