Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"We went over bond length, bond energy and atomic radius. We also did problems on how they are all related to one another."
"We reviewed topics on thermochemistry, fluids and solids, gases and calorimetry in preparation for tomorrow's exam and completed practice problems from the textbook."
"We went over the student's current homework assignment and an old one with some problems that she had not fully understood. We covered electron configurations, converting wavelengths to frequencies, and dimensional analysis. Her textbook lacks practice problems, so I will be bringing more during her next session."
"We covered many topics in preparation for the student's final exam tomorrow. We focused on weak acid-strong base (buffering) titrations, and then hit many different topics including electrochemistry and galvanic cells, as well as nuclear decay and half life. I wish him good luck on the final exam, and a great career in the future. I've really enjoyed tutoring him over the last summer and this semester."
"We covered VSEPR theory and AXE ligand/central atom/molecular polarity. We also reviewed some math covering parent functions and transformations. The student was attentive. We planned a review for Wednesday online."
"We did some more studying for the midterm. We went over the difference between mixtures and substances, phase-change energy diagrams, the different sorts of chemical reactions, density equations, and some balancing tricks."
