"We practiced direct and indirect pronouns and the word "tout" in the French language in preparation for a written quiz the student will take. Work involved the translation of sentences and the formation of adequate responses to questions. We also reviewed notes his teacher posted to her class website. He learned many new verbs and was able to use them in our exercises. He will continue to practice the lessons he learns in class and complete exercises on the computer. We will discuss the result of the quiz when we next meet."

"In order to help prepare the student for his final, we went over a few pages of the text, which is a prep book for French 3 students that covers everything from numbers to participles. He and I went over the pronoun page, reflexive verbs, and participles. With the pronoun page, he now understands how "en" and "y" can be used as direct object pronouns and the rules they follow. We also did practice on indirect object and direct object pronoun placement in a sentence. He did a great job changing the indirect/direct objects into the proper pronouns. We had some sample questions to work with so that he completely understands how they work. With the reflexives, he understood the concept of how they work, and with practice, he was able to change the reflexive pronouns to the appropriate forms. When dealing with participles, we did a review of past participles and then went over the present participle as well as the pluperfect."
