Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student and I worked on preparing her for a geometry exam the upcoming Friday. Although there were some concepts to iron out, by the end of the session, she had a very clear understanding of the concepts that are going to be assessed on her exam (i.e. calculating angles/arks of circles, with various variables). As always, this was a very productive session and I look forward to working with her again soon."
"We reviewed for the upcoming test. Topics covered were: area formulas, interior and exterior formulas for regular polygons, area of circle sections, and arch lengths."
"The student and I reviewed her math worksheet and textbook problems that covered solving for angles in a circle and their respective arc lengths, along with theorems associated with triangles and quadrilaterals inscribed in a circle. Overall it appeared that she knew and understood the concepts and material, and once she became more familiar with the theorems she didn't show any signs of struggling with the problems."
"The student was introduced to a new topic about locus points. We went over her homework and reviewed the homework that was due the previous day that the teacher did not have time to correct in class. We discussed the class notes that she had to help answer any of her questions."
"We went over an SOL packet with a review of everything the student had gone over throughout the year. We also reviewed her homework."
"The session went well! We went through the entirety of the student's worksheets, helping him prepare for his upcoming geometry test. He is continuing to demonstrate progress in many areas, and I look forward to our next session!"
