"We worked on angles and geometric shapes. I gave him a small multiplication table to keep with him. He works hard and. Is very engaged and willing to learn."
"The student finished all math worksheets on time/calendar, completed Junior Achievement worksheets on balancing a checkbook, and did supplemental work on skip counting to count coins."
"The student completed his math homework on misleading graphs (chapter 7-10). We also completed his history assignment."
"Today I met this student. We went over detailed testing strategies, and how to overcome test anxiety. We went over methods for tackling complicated word problems. We also reviewed mixed fractions. I also hope I imbued her with a sense of wonder for math. I left her with practice problems from a state assessment workbook I purchased for her. I'm excited to keep working with her!"
"The student is showing strong understanding of multi-step word problems and multiplication problems. We went over organizing the problems neatly which has increased his ability to provide the correct answers. We continue go over writing the number legibly and writing down steps to identify potential errors."
"I first reviewed the conversion charts using customary and metric units of measurement. My student had a worksheet from her teacher on converting customary units of measurement. I reviewed the rules of conversion with her. We worked the first few problems together and I let her work a few problems on her own. She was able to solve the problems on her own with minimal assistance. She seems to be demonstrating an understanding of converting customary units of measurement. The back of the worksheet had a few problems on metric conversion which we worked out together."
