Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"In this session, the student and I covered executive bureaucracy. The student updated me on his overall grade for the course and it is where he wants to be. I have no concerns after this session."
"Reviewed for the student's final exam: fundamentals of the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Articles of Confederacy, Federalist/Anti-Federalist views and leaders. She made flash cards for each concept. I urged her to review what we had done today before our next session."
"Today we talked about the different structures of government, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of each system. We discussed the criticisms of democracy, as well as examples of its problems in modern day policymaking."
"The student and I worked to get her caught up on the first week of readings and papers for her new government class, started the second week of readings, and made plans for how she will complete her remaining work."
"Her essay over the role of native Americans and African-Americans in the Constitutional Convention was the focus of tonight's session. I helped her outline the big ideas and gave her some direction."
"We reviewed foreign policy in the 1930's in preparation for the student's test and the first half of the Great Depression section. She is much more comfortable with this section now than she was last week and should be ready for her test. I would suggest that she review the two reading sections for the Great Depression and WW II. These are straightforward readings, and she shouldn't have any problem with them."
