Recent Tutoring Session Reviews
"The student was working with AP review problems involving mechanics and Newton's 2nd law as applied to various situations, such as inclined planes and pulleys. Once we got the basic principles down, he seemed to pick up the math very well and work the problems to a satisfactory conclusion."
"This session was added to our weekly schedule because the student has an upcoming science test. We focused on photosynthesis and cell respiration as well as interdependence in ecosystems. He made a good effort to answer every question and seemed to pick up on the material fast. He has a good understanding of producers and consumers in a food web and knows the differences between photosynthesis and respiration, including inputs and outputs and cell organization."
"Seeing as the test is rapidly approaching in May, the student and I will be studying intently for it. We covered the summaries of a couple of chapters and took notes. We will be doing note cards next time and continuing our preparation for the test in May."
