Description

In this class, students will learn about the contribution of women not just to women's rights, but to medicine, space exploration, politics, civil rights, the military, and more. Our world today is shaped by the actions and innovations of women of the 19th and 20th centuries, and this class will explore the stories of the women who landed rockets on the moon, pioneered vaccines and surgical techniques, fought for social justice, and created the future we get to enjoy--and improve upon.
